Текст песни: When youre standing on the edge of nowhere Theres only one way up, so your hearts got to go there Through the darkest nights to see the light shine bright When heroes fall in love or war they live Lonely Bull, released in 1962, is the debut album by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. Most of the tracks on the album were geared toward the TJB's Mariachi sound. There were also a few cover versions of popular songs, a trend which would grow in their next two albums, Volume 2 and South of the Border. Limbo Rock covered a novelty dance song that had been a calypso-style hit by Chubby Checker. Struttin' With Maria was later used as the theme for a TV game show called Personality, hosted by. The colossus that is A&M Records starts right here with the first album by the 1960s instrumental juggernaut known as the Tijuana Brass. True, there was no Tijuana Brass per se at this time just Herb Alpert and a coterie of Los Angeles sessionmen, with Alpert overdubbing himself on trumpet to get that bullring effect. Likely a 1960's Columbia House pressing due to these unique characteristics...
- the label type format (e.g. the block-capital "MADE IN CANADA" and the widely spaced out "S T E R E O", which were common on albums distributed by Columbia Canada at the time. If a Canadian press of any album features these characteristics and is NOT on a Columbia/CBS-affiliated label then it is probably an early Columbia House pressing.)
- the lack of manufacturer/distributor information anywhere on the release
- a "C" (for Columbia) on the back cover.

I don't own this pressing but I own a mono version with the same characteristics which I will be submitting to Discogs soon.
