  • Dark_Sun
Some folks seem worked up about how the color looks. Me? I listen to them. And I can tell you this is the best this album has ever sounded. Worth the price.
  • The Rollers of Vildar
For me personally one of the most stunning albums I have. Very good sound quality. The first copy I ordered, got lost for five weeks during delivery and I bought a second copy before the first arrived. Fun fact: One copy is golden transparent with some brownish swirls. The other copy looks like a thin strawberry milkshake with some rose swirls. I wouldn't call that purple but both look really nice.
  • Buriwield
Perfect colour - perfect SOUND - one of the best limited vinyl reissues!
  • Kulalas
I have my own personal copy too and found it sounded fantastic too.
  • Dordred
I am really happy with my copy it sounds great and has a purple haze (if you look at it in the light).
  • Yananoc
Yes, it contains a double sided insert with photos. The most important is the incredible sound!
  • It's so easy
Does this ‘ purple ‘ version come with an insert?
  • Nanecele
i don't really care if this is translucent with just a hint of purple: to me, what really counts is sound and pressing quality, which are both very good.
  • Rolling Flipper
Have to agree with everything that has been said here... purchased from The Sound of Vinyl- UK, (all the same Co. as Record Store and uDiscover, I believe). Definitely more translucent with a very slight hint of lilac. Yes, also required a good clean. Capitol do need to sort out their pressing plant!
  • Gelgen
Have to wonder how on earth this is "purple" i have two preordered and they are both clear vinyl.
  • Oreavi
Mine too. I ordered the standard black version and then came this one.
  • Bluecliff
Finally got a reply from UDM. The want at least two pictures. I'll humor them and send them, but I know they'll say is translucent and purple. Talk about a bait and switch
  • Uafrmaine
I'll buy one off you if they send you another copy.
  • Fordregelv
And now support came back and told me the website had a bad picture and that they will change it.They did offer me a 50% refund ;)
  • Braswyn
Support now wants me confirmed address to send me the correct item.I am about 90% sure I'm going to get the same record :)
  • FreandlyMan
Mine just arrived from Recordstore.co.uk, Crystal clear with no hint of of Purple
  • Abywis
By ‘purple’ did they mean ‘lilac-ish’? Normally I understand about coloured vinyl gradient variations, (the recent reissue of Belly’s lp wasn’t nearly as eye popping as the pre-order pics looked, that was a bit of a bummer but not a deal breaker), but THIS is laughable!!! Talk about an outright deception and misrepresentation of the final product. Having said that, the sound of this pressing (and it really is about how the vinyl sounds, right?), is a significant upgrade from the Plain pressing.
  • I am hcv men
I can confirm my copy is the same as in the pictures above, clear with a very light lilac smoke effect. I could have sworn i ordered full on purple? Some very slight surface noise throughout possibly due to a slight bend in the record.
  • Fato
Submitted my complaint to UDM as well. Talk about a bait and switch. I would have just ordered a regular black repress of this if I knew it was going to be on apparently clear vinyl.
  • IWAS
Update, after cleaning the vinyl, plays very nicely, just give it a good clean before playing. also the record appears to get more purple after repeated plays... Well, I can now see the faintest of lilac in the marble effect.
  • Little Devil
Not Happy At All. This is how my copy looks. Not a hint of purple in it
  • The Apotheoses of Lacspor
I ordered mine from uDiscover assuming it it would look purple based on it's description. It's definitely clear. False advertising. Not happy.
  • Vichredag
The pictures of the vinyl does not look purple translucent.
  • Invissibale
did you get your copy from uDiscover.com? A little apprehensive now that isee people arent getting the purple color variant.
  • ndup
Mine is 100% clear/colorless. Not a hint of purple :(
  • Sti
Mine just came and it looks like the pictures. Not purple....not happy
  • Orll
Looks dead purple to me. Must be something screwy with your monitor.
