Album

The Spirit Room is the major-label debut album by singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, released by the Maverick Recording Company and Warner Bros. Records in the United States on August 14, 2001. The album was recorded at Sunset Sound, Henson Recording Studios and Ananda Studios in Hollywood, California and mastered by Stephen Marcussen at Marcussen Mastering in Los Angeles, California. The album's title comes from the name of a bar in Jerome, Arizona, near Branch's hometown of Sedona. You have to keep reminding yourself that 2001 newcomer Michelle Branch is only 17 years old when listening to her worthy poprock debut The Spirit Room. The 11-track set showcases this precocious artist on guitar electric and acoustic and a substantial vocal presence that blends innocence, passion, vulnerability, yearning, intensity, and tenderness all in one voice. She also has a knack for crafting melodic vocal leads, which further define her infectious sound. Album 2001 11 Songs. Her vocals are assertive yet vulnerable, avoiding a strident tone without coming across as prissy. There are hints of Belinda Carlisles breezy style in her singing, as well as the urgency of Alanis Morissette. Branchs songwriting is heartfelt and solid, rooted in classic pop with a few country elements added. Producer John Shanks surrounds her with bright contemporary sounds, adding a hip-hop groove here and an atmospheric synthesizer backdrop there. The Spirit Room is the major-label debut album by singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, released via Maverick Recording Company and Warner Bros. The album spawned three singles: Everywhere , All You Wanted , and Goodbye to You. All three singles peaked within the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 at 12, 6, and 21, respectively. All You Wanted became the highest peaking single of Branchs career. The Spirit Room Q&A. Does another version of Goodbye to You exist Yes, a radio remix of the single, which features more instrume. In 2001, Michelle Branch entered the scene at about the same time similar female vocalists did, such as Vanessa Carlton and Avril Lavigne. However, unlike the latter, Branch did more than just strum a few chords during the bridges of her songs rather she would play the lead guitar in all of her songs. The album starts off with the song Everywhere, the first of 3 singles from the album. It starts with a nice acoustic intro which is joined in by drum, then the whole band for the chorus. While the music generally falls under pop, this song has a rockier edge to it. Michelle Branch, John Shanks. и другие авторские общества 13.
