The name refers to the designation for the Sombrero Galaxy in the New General Catalogue of Nebulae and Clusters of Stars, or NGC. The twelve lost album tracks, by comparison, are a revelation given the uncompromisingly basic circumstances of their creation they shouldnt work but somehow they do, revealing a band on the cusp of garage RnB and psychedelia, given a fizzing veneer of excitement by the live-in-the-studio performance and unvarnished production values. Thanks for the great review of the NGC4594 CD, it really is a lost classic and deserved to be heard after sitting in the can for forty plus years. It was a pleasure to work with the guys from the band to provide an opportunity for all turned on, tuned in, psych music fans to finally appreciate. NGC 4945 also known as Caldwell 83 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Centaurus, visible near the star Xi Centauri. The galaxy was discovered by James Dunlop in 1826 and is thought to be similar to the Milky Way Galaxy, although X-ray observations show that NGC 4945 has an unusual energetic Seyfert 2 nucleus that might house a supermassive black hole. This object has an estimated mass of 1
