Ain't a Damn Thing Changed is the second studio album by American hip-hop duo Nice & Smooth, released on September 17, 1991 via Rush Associated Labels and Columbia Records. Recording sessions took place at Unique Recording Studios and Power Play Studios in New York City. Production was handled primarily by Gregg Nice and Smooth Bee, except song Paranoia produced by Louie Vega. Ain't a Damn Thing Changed spawned four singles: Hip Hop Junkies, How to Flow. Songs in album Nice & Smooth - Ain't a Damn Thing Changed 1991. Nice & Smooth - Harmonize. Nice & Smooth - Cake & Eat It Too. Greg Nice still raps with that fresh energetic flow and Smooth Bee is very calm and confident. The album has a more commercial feel than the previous one, but it's still very dope with some pretty great standout tracks. Greg Nice kills it every single time, he doesn't rap about much but it's just the way he places the words is so damn fresh. The album is pretty much about dope deliveries and fresh beats rather than conscious or political topics. The beats are pretty good making the album rather enjoyable. Ain't a Damn Thing Changed. Nice & Smooth returned for a second album that injected a much-needed and entirely welcome sense of the absurd into the generally far too austere and sincere New York City underground hip-hop community, which has traditionally sacrificed humor for hardcore technique when it comes to rhyming. Greg Nice and Smooth B. however, are often downright silly and goofball on Ain't a Damn Thing Changed. Despite the conscientious-sounding title, there is very little on the album that is concerned with anything other than, first, rocking the microphone, and second, timing the punch line perfectly. Nice & Smooth is an underground East Coast rap duo from New York, composed of Greg Nice Greg Mays and Smooth B Daryl Barnes. Together, they made several albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s to little popular appeal, though their second album Ain't a Damn Thing Changed, 1991 was a commercial success that included a minor hit in Sometimes I Rhyme Slow.
